Their bar is the Cowtown Queen, a fully restored 1934 Ford pickup truck that's been converted into a vintage mobile bar with custom taps. Paul and Marla bring the truck to weddings, birthdays, corporate events, festivals, and private parties for groups from 50 to 2,500 guests. The Cowtown Queen pours craft beer, wine, champagne, signature cocktails, cider, coffee, tea, and kombucha, with non-alcoholic packages including iced tea, lemonade, and infused water also available. Self-serve packages start at $800 and full-service packages start at $1,200, with TIPS-certified tap-tenders, general and liquor liability insurance, and a certificate of insurance available on request. What is the Cowtown Queen?
The Cowtown Queen is the bar at the heart of Tap Truck Fort Worth. She's a fully restored 1934 Ford pickup truck originally pulled from a barn in South Fort Worth, now converted into a vintage mobile bar with custom taps and uplighting. Paul and Marla rebuilt her to bring a piece of classic Texas character to every event.
Do you provide the alcohol?
Under Texas law the client purchases the alcohol, but Tap Truck Fort Worth will walk you through beverage selection and can pick up and deliver your beer, wine, and other drinks to the event. Paul and Marla can also put you in touch with local Texas breweries and wineries to help build a custom menu.
What does the self-serve package include?
The self-serve Empty Tank package starts at $800 and includes the Cowtown Queen with uplighting for a 3-hour rental, a full-size stationary serving bar, three taps for beverages you've supplied, an on-tap menu, and general and liability insurance. Ice and cups are not included on this package and the host stays responsible for keeping kegs cold.
What does the full-service package include?
The full-service Full Tank package starts at $1,200 and is all-inclusive. It covers the Cowtown Queen for a 3-hour rental, 1-2 TIPS-certified tap-tenders, the full-size bar, three taps, an on-tap menu, disposable cups, ice, cocktail napkins, garnishes, and general and liability insurance. Setup, service, and cleanup are all handled by Tap Truck Fort Worth.
Are your tap-tenders licensed and insured?
Yes. Tap-tenders at Tap Truck Fort Worth carry their TIPS Server's Permit, and the company holds full auto, liquor, and general liability insurance. A certificate of insurance can be provided to you or your venue on request.
What is the booking and refund policy?
Tap Truck Fort Worth requires a 50 percent deposit at booking to secure the date, with the balance due seven days before the event. Refunds are full if cancelled more than 60 days out, 50 percent if cancelled 30 to 60 days out, and not available within 30 days of the event. Dates booked 12 to 18 months in advance require a signed contract and a non-refundable 50 percent retainer.
