Mixie Chix Mobile Bar

Mixie Chix is a family-owned mobile bar based in Burleson, Texas, led by Rachel O'Brien (founder and lead visionary), Samantha O'Brien (event and client coordinator), and Shannon Vaughan (logistics). Rachel handles planning and event-day execution, Samantha designs the custom menu signage and personalized touches, and Shannon built and hauls the vintage trailer bar.

Mixie Chix's signature bar is a 1985 horse trailer that Shannon Vaughan renovated into a working mobile bar. It serves as a show-stopping centerpiece for weddings, festivals, and gatherings of all sizes, and is available for 4-hour bookings with additional time available on request.

No. Mixie Chix is a dry hire bartending service, which means clients supply the alcohol and Mixie Chix provides the bar, the staff, and everything else. Rachel and the team will give you specific guidance on how much to purchase based on your guest count and event type, so you don't end up over- or under-buying.

Every package includes TABC-certified bartenders, full setup and cleanup, all bar equipment and supplies, ice, disposable drinkware, napkins, straws, a custom bar menu sign with basic bar decor, and a non-alcoholic drink station with mocktails, dirty sodas, and fresh lemonades. Fully insured service is standard on every booking.

Based in Burleson, Mixie Chix serves the entire DFW Metroplex including Fort Worth, Arlington, Cleburne, Crowley, Midlothian, Southlake, Keller, and Joshua, and travels regularly from Frisco down to Waco for weddings and large events. Mixie Chix also offers a Snax & Stax lineup that can be booked alongside the bar or on its own. Options include an ice cream bar with up to 12 toppings, a mini pancake station with fruit, Nutella, chocolate chips, nuts, and maple syrup, and individual charcuterie portions with artisanal cheeses, cured meats, fruit, and crackers.
