Jo's Traveling Bar

Jo's Traveling Bar is run by manager Jo Fryberger as a division of O'Michael's Pub and Grill in Boise. Jo has years of event experience across the Treasure Valley, working everything from small house warmings up to large-scale public events. Jo's runs a fully self-contained special-events mobile truck with beer taps mounted on the side. The setup is genuinely self-sufficient: drive up, set the parking brake, get out the cups and glasses, and start pouring. That makes the truck especially well-suited for outdoor festivals and venues without an existing bar built in.

The Boise-area $350 setup fee covers all permits, the team's liability insurance, bartenders, and full setup of the bar. Setup pricing for events outside Boise is quoted separately based on travel and venue specifics. The fee is the all-in operations cost; drinks are billed separately based on the chosen format and guest consumption.

Drinks are organized by tier. $7 covers well drinks. $8 covers mid-tier spirits like Captain Morgan, Malibu Rum, Jim Beam, and Seagram's 7. $9 covers premium spirits like Jack Daniel's, Crown Royal, Johnny Walker Red, Jameson, Tito's, and Hornitos Tequila. Kegs of beer and bottled beer are priced separately based on selection.

Jo's works a wide range, from intimate house warmings up to massive public events like The Hyde Park Street Fair (where the team has served thousands). Weddings, company parties, concerts, grand openings, festivals, corporate events, fundraisers, and reunions are all in regular rotation. The team scales staffing to match the guest count.

Jo's offers a full range of non-alcoholic specialties, from classic Shirley Temples to alcohol-free beers and soft drinks. That makes it easy to serve guests who aren't drinking without setting up a separate beverage station. Mocktail menus can be customized for specific themes or color palettes during event planning.
