About Idaho Tipsy Trailers
Idaho Tipsy Trailers is the Treasure Valley's premier mobile bar service, founded by Lindsey, a third-generation Idaho native and former Los Angeles Fashion Week producer who converted a 1972 horse trailer into one of the first mobile bars in the state. Nearly eight years later, the fleet now includes six distinctive bar setups: Tilly (the original horse trailer), Dixie (a 1959 vintage camper with boho design and a 3-tap draft system), Bev (a 125-year-old vintage beverage cart), Pip (a pop-up satellite bar), Stanley (a custom chalkboard-front mobile bar), and Benny (wine barrels topped with a butcher block top). The team is TIPS-certified and fully licensed and insured under Capitol Bar, and they manage alcohol catering permits with the event's city, county, or municipality. Idaho Tipsy Trailers serves weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, festivals, and private celebrations across Idaho with hosted, cash, and combination bar packages. Bookings begin with a custom quote through their client portal.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between Idaho Tipsy Trailers' six bar setups?
The fleet includes Tilly (a 1972 horse trailer with a 2-tap draft system and rustic country interior), Dixie (a 1959 vintage camper with a 3-tap draft system and boho styling), Bev (a 125-year-old vintage beverage cart ideal for showers and welcome tables), Pip (a sleek white pop-up satellite bar), Stanley (a custom satellite bar with a chalkboard front and butcher block top), and Benny (wine barrels topped with a butcher block bar surface).
What types of bar service does Idaho Tipsy Trailers offer?
They offer three structures: a hosted bar (host covers all beverages, billed by actual consumption with optional spending cap), a cash bar (host pays only the setup fee, guests purchase their own drinks), and a combination bar that blends both, with options like a price-capped hosted bar or a drink ticket system. All packages include licensed bartenders, mixers, garnishes, and required permits.
Are bartenders licensed and insured?
Yes. Idaho Tipsy Trailers operates as a fully licensed and insured alcohol service provider under Capitol Bar, and the team is TIPS-certified in the state of Idaho. They also manage all required alcohol catering permits with the event's city, county, or municipality so the event stays compliant.
Can we provide our own alcohol (dry hire)?
For events held privately on private property, Idaho Tipsy Trailers can do a dry hire and provide bartending-only service. However, when their licensed service is engaged, Idaho's "No Outside Alcohol Policy" means all alcohol served must be purchased and provided through their licensed setup. They walk clients through which path fits the venue.
What's the booking and planning process?
Booking starts with the Lead Form, which creates a project in their client portal. From there, clients review their proposal, select bar setup and services, sign the contract, and pay the setup fee deposit to secure the date. Planning questionnaires guide custom menu design. All communication, contracts, invoices, and payments live in the portal.
What's an example of pricing for a wedding?
A sample hosted bar for 100 guests over a 4-hour reception, with one drink per guest per hour, including French 75s, classic Old Fashioneds, beers like Coors Light and pFriem IPA, Cabernet, Sauvignon Blanc, and High Noon Variety, runs around $3,450 for beverages plus 20% gratuity, for an estimated total of about $4,140. Setup fees are quoted separately based on bar selection.
