The Wandering Druid

After growing up in Doolin, Co. Clare on the west coast of Ireland, Wandering Druid co-founders Barry Shannon and MJ Queally found themselves working behind the bar at The Druid pub in Inman Square in Cambridge MA, a long standing Irish pub owned by yet another Clare man; Mikey Crawford of Ennistymon. The idea for The Wandering Druid was born from the constant requests to host weddings, parties and private events in The Druid. Inspired by a mobile Irish pub business based in Co.

The Wandering Druid is a mobile Irish pub on wheels — a handcrafted, tiny home style trailer that brings the atmosphere of a cozy pub straight to your backyard, driveway, or private event.

The base rental fee is $999 midweek (Monday through Wednesday), $1,299 on Thursdays, Fridays & Sundays and $1,499 on Saturdays. For a full list of our Holiday Pricing , please click here. We do not provide any alcohol. In order to comply with state liquor laws, the host, venue, or catering company must purchase the alcohol. The pub comes fully equipped with taps for two draft beers at a time and refrigeration for your kegs or other bottled/canned beverages. Consider it as if you were having a house party; you supply the beverages and when we deliver and set up the pub we will connect your keg(s) and ensure everything is working properly. We also provide the beer gas for your kegs free of charge.

Each booking is a one day/one night rental. We will deliver and set up the pub either the evening before, or on the day of your event. This will be dependent on event timing, location and logistics and will be decided during the initial booking process. Typically, we will return to retrieve the pub the morning after your event. However we can retrieve the pub after the event on the same day if necessary. If your event is on commercial property (e.g. the parking lot of a business) the pub must be retrieved on the same day after your event, and cannot be left overnight.

We have partnered with Greater Boston’s premier Irish bartending service, Sláinte Bartending , to provide the ultimate, Irish hospitality experience. All staff are fully trained in the ins and outs of our pub (draft system, sound system, TV, heating/AC etc.) so you will be in the best hands possible!
