About Jack’s Wagon
Jack's Wagon started as a passion project, a way to have fun, bring people together, and build something unique with the whole family. What began with a love for backyard hangs and pub-style charm turned into a custom-built bar on wheels. Today, it's a mobile pub rental bringing unforgettable experiences to weddings, parties, and events across New England, still run with the same heart, hands, and sense of fun it was built on.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does renting Jack's Wagon work?
Jack's Wagon is essentially a private, portable pub that comes to you. We deliver and set up the mobile bar at your location — driveway, backyard, or venue. You provide the drinks, and we handle the rest. Think of it like hosting a party at your place, but with a much cooler bar setup.
Do you provide the alcohol?
No, we don't supply alcohol. You purchase your own drinks — whether that's kegs from a local brewery, cans from the liquor store, or bottles of wine. This keeps things simple with state laws and saves you money since there's no markup. The bar comes with taps for two kegs and refrigeration space, plus we'll provide all the gas and connections you need.
Do we need a permit to serve alcohol?
No permit is needed as long as you're not charging your guests for drinks. Think of Jack's Wagon as an extension of your home or private venue — if you can serve drinks at a house party, you can serve them from the Wagon.
How much space do I need?
You'll need a level area of roughly 30 by 20 feet — enough for the Wagon itself plus room for guests to move around comfortably. This can be a driveway, backyard, or open venue space. We'll review your location during booking to make sure everything works out. Note that the Wagon must be parked on private property, not on public streets.
How many kegs can the bar handle?
The bar can hold up to two full-size kegs at once, which is about 250 pints of beer. We can also accommodate quarter or sixth kegs if you want more variety. There are two separate tap lines, so you can serve two different beers on draft. If you use smaller kegs, the extra fridge space works great for cans and bottles.
Does the Wagon have heating?
Yes! Jack's Wagon is fully heated for those cold New England nights. Its compact layout warms quickly, keeping guests comfortable from the moment they step inside.
Does the bar need a power source?
Yes, we need one standard 20-amp outlet within 100 feet of the setup location. This powers the refrigeration, lighting, sound system, and climate control. We bring our own extension cords. If power isn't available at your spot, we can arrange a generator rental for an additional fee.
Where do you deliver?
We serve Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and surrounding areas in New England. Delivery fees vary based on your location. Whether you're in Boston, on the coast, or out in the country, reach out and we'll give you a quote.
