Our Story On The Fly Tapsters is a unique catering company born from the diverse experiences and passions of its founder, Jennifer Cumming. With a background that spans art, chemistry, and ballet, Jennifer brings a creative and scientific approach to everything she does. Holding a degree in Chemistry and Religious Studies, she initially aimed for medical school but found her true calling in a different realm. Life’s journey took Jennifer and her family across the globe, accompanying her husband during his military career.
What services do you offer for bartending at events?
We offer both dry hire and all-included bartending services. With dry hire, you provide the alcohol, and we take care of the bartending. Our all-included service means we handle everything from providing the alcohol to bartending and cleanup. Dry hire is available only in Virginia and Maryland, while in Washington, DC, we offer all-included services due to local liquor licensing regulations.
What is the difference between dry hire and all-included bartending services?
With dry hire, you provide the alcohol, and we supply the bartenders and necessary equipment. This option is available in Virginia and Maryland. All-included service means we provide the alcohol, bartenders, and everything needed for a seamless bar experience. In Washington, DC, we only offer the all-included service as it is illegal for a bartender to serve at an event without an ABRA liquor license, which we hold.
Do you provide bartending services for all types of events?
Yes, we cater to a wide range of events, including weddings, corporate events, private parties, and more. No event is too big or too small for our professional bartending services.
